Lying low is not exactly Beatrice’s strong suit, especially when she sees someone who desperately needs to be recognized. But when the certificate meant for him falls into the wrong hands, Beatrice and Lenny have to find a way to widen their circle once again to save Operation Upside, and themselves, from trouble.

Review: Everything about Beatrice Zinker was absolutely adorable! She loved to be upside down and jump and stalk like a ninja. I loved that she and Lenny liked giving children (and teachers) certificates to brighten their day, although one or two didn’t go quite smoothly.

The twist about halfway through was nice, one character I was worried would turn out to be a bad guy or blackmailer or something but Beatrice and Lenny turned the situation around and accomplished their original plan and added a new member to their group. I haven’t read the first book but I don’t feel like I missed any major events. You can bet I’ll read it as soon as I can get my hands on it. All in all I really enjoyed this adorable novel and it’s beautiful illustrations. The story was wonderful, the pacing wasn’t rushed, I loved all the characters and this book’s quirkiness, and the ending was very satisfying. I hope there’ll be more books in this series!
